History: The Next Planning association was created in 2012 as a continuation of the community organizing experiment in Grenoble. Our team is interested in advocacy planning methods for developing participatory urban planning projects in working-class neighborhoods.
Our raison d’être: Empowering residents of working-class neighborhoods to build an agenda for the right to the city and urban policies in favor of a fair and sustainable city. Promote alternatives in favor of the commons and the emergence of a new municipalism that strengthens the social and ecological transition of territories.
Our actions: We carry out actions, experiments, research & capitalization on the themes of public space, the right to housing, the right to the city, housing, food, digital…
Our scale of intervention: Based in Grenoble, our projects are carried out locally & regionally, in the French-speaking, European and international arenas.
